Lavätt is an enterprise of a Paraguayan business group. In recent years, Paraguay has seen a growth in the high-class hotel sector, food companies and other similar enterprises. This caused a strong demand for services, particularly for textile rental services.
For several years, investments in laundries only reached the commercial level. Lavätt decided that the time had come to undertake a project that would combine the needs of different users, applying proven technology. The company visited laundries in Buenos Aires to look at various technologies and approaches and decided to move ahead in April 2019.
The new laundry, located just fifteen minutes from the booming city of Asunción, was completed in March 2020. Lavätt operates its laundry plant with a team of 32, 24 trained operators, a supervisor, a technical service assistant, 5 logistics experts and one administrative assistant. Together they safeguard the processing of one ton of garments per hour.
Reducing the impact on the environment and saving resources to a minimum was key – that’s why JENSEN technology was chosen for both the washroom and the finishing section.
