Welcome to JENSEN at Gulfood Dubai

The GCC’s hospitality’s market is growing fast, and that's because of many reasons. Only in Qatar - host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup - for instance, 45'000 rooms are scheduled to be built within the next few years. In Dubai, thousands of new hotel rooms are being built to accommodate the many tourists that are attracted to this fantastic holiday destination. Everything will be right in time for 2020, when Dubai will host the 2020 World Expo.

JENSEN has been supporting all these developments from the early start; with layout support, automation expertise and already now with installation and commissioning.

Also the travel destinations in the Emirates, Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are looking for sustainable laundry automation: Water is scarce, and the lifestyle of the people living in the area calls for premium linen solutions: travelling and residing in style is prevailing. Thanks to our expertise in heavy-duty laundry automation with a clear focus on Clean Tech solutions, JENSEN can make a contribution to the development of industrial areas in the Gulf Area.

JENSEN-GROUP has been present in the Gulf Area for decades through our distributor PLET. We have been operating an independent JENSEN sales and service office in Dubai since 2012, to make sure that we can follow up on large projects. General Manager Peter Furnell and Service manager Calvin Hart are in charge of our local team of project specialists and service engineer, together they work hard to give day to day support to our valuable distributors and customers in the Gulf area. At the moment, they are interrupting the installation of a turn-key laundry to be present at Gulfood. They look forward to meeting with our customers and relations at what has become the annual meeting point for the hospitality industry in the Middle East.
