Nieuws & innovaties
With state-of-the-art laundry technology, continuous investments, and a clear vision for the future, STIMPFL TEXTILE CARE GmbH in Tyrol is consistently driving its development forward. Together with JENSEN and Inwatec, the family-owned company continues to automate its processes with one clear objective: delivering the highest quality, reliable operations, and an optimal working environment.
Based in Flaurling, Austria, STIMPFL TEXTILE CARE GmbH is one of the leading textile service providers in the Tyrolean Oberland region. The family business supplies high-quality rental textiles to customers in the hospitality and healthcare sectors and is known for reliable logistics, the highest hygiene standards, and long-term customer relationships.
The company's history dates back to 1945, when it was founded as Wäscherei Gasser. Over the decades, it evolved into a modern textile service company. The acquisition by Hans Peter Stimpfl in 2002 marked the beginning of a new phase of development and laid the foundation for today's company structure. Since 2023, Daniel Stimpfl has been leading the family business in its third generation. From an early age, Daniel Stimpfl gained hands-on experience in every area of the business — from deliveries and production to process organization and operations management. This practical background continues to shape his leadership philosophy today:
"I've worked in every department of the company myself. That's exactly why I know what really matters in day-to-day operations and why I don't make decisions from behind a desk."
Automation as an investment in quality and employees
A major milestone in the company's recent development has been the installation of the BLIZZ towel robot from Inwatec, a JENSEN-GROUP partner. The system automates the processing of towels, ensures consistently high quality, and significantly reduces physically demanding manual work for employees. The system has already been successfully integrated into daily production. Based on the positive experience, the installation of a second BLIZZ system is already planned.
"Automation is not an end in itself for us. It is a tool that helps us maintain consistently high quality while significantly reducing the physical workload of our employees," says Daniel Stimpfl.
At the same time, STIMPFL TEXTILE CARE continues to invest in a modern machine park, systematically upgrading existing equipment to ensure efficient and economical production well into the future.
A long-standing partnership with JENSEN
The partnership with JENSEN has been built over many years and has continued seamlessly across generations. In addition to state-of-the-art laundry technology, STIMPFL TEXTILE CARE particularly values the close exchange of ideas on new technologies and the personal support provided by the JENSEN team.
Another key element of this successful partnership is Inwatec's expertise in automation. Together, the partners develop solutions that sustainably improve both process reliability and operational efficiency. Daniel Stimpfl especially highlights the personal support provided by Gerald Dallhammer, General Manager of JENSEN Austria GmbH, and Rudolf Hofer, Regional Sales Manager for Austria and Southern Germany:
"A strong partnership with our suppliers is essential for us. Only by working closely together can we stay at the forefront of technology and safeguard our quality standards for the long term."
Investments create room for future growth
In addition to automation, STIMPFL TEXTILE CARE is currently expanding its production site. New storage areas, an enlarged dispatch hall, and the extension of the soiled linen area optimize internal material flows and further enhance process reliability. The primary focus of these investments is the continuous optimization of internal workflows. Clear structures and efficient processes form the foundation of STIMPFL TEXTILE CARE's high quality standards. The next step is already planned: the installation of an automated soiled linen sorting system from Inwatec. This investment will further increase the level of automation and sustainably improve production efficiency.
"We are investing in the future today so that we can continue providing our customers with the highest quality and reliability for many years to come," explains Daniel Stimpfl.
Shaping the future together
With continuous investments, a clear quality strategy, and strong technology partners, STIMPFL TEXTILE CARE is laying the foundation for the future. Close cooperation with JENSEN and Inwatec plays a key role in bringing innovations into daily operations while maintaining the company's high quality standards over the long term.
"The Stimpfl family represents genuine entrepreneurial spirit and a handshake-based culture of trust. We have worked together successfully for many years, and that mutual trust forms the foundation of our partnership. I look forward to realizing many more innovative projects together in the years ahead," concludes Rudolf Hofer.
