  • Standard working width 3000 mm/118" and maximum length of products to be folded is 3600 mm/142"
  • Max. working width of the crossfolder is 800 mm/31"
  • Max. thickness of products to be folded is 230 mm/9" unpressed
  • Max. working speed: 32 m/min. / 105 ft./min.
  • Cycle time: 6 sec.
  • Lateral folds, with totally three lateral folding sections, the following types of main folds can be achieved by means of reversing conveyors: half, third (inside or outside), quarter, fix dimension, S-fold and the special ”dual” corner.
  • Crossfolds, with totally one crossfold section, the following types of main folds can be achieved by means of reversing conveyors supported by mechanical knives: half, third, quarter and S-fold.
  • Optional: A third cross fold can be added, to make the ”corners in” fold, especially for mattress pads.
  • Delivery of folded goods, piece by piece on a roller convoyer.
    Optional: Bagging unit ”UNO” or ”DUO”. See special description.

 

Features                                                                                    

  • PLC control system CT 3500 and operator panel CT 342 "Touch Screen"
  • The products are kept in position by reversing "sandwich" conveyors, to avoid that the product opens up again after folding, due to the natural tension in the product.
  • Jam alert, the machine measures the piece coming from the lateral fold section; should the piece for some reason be wider than 800 mm/31", it is automatically sorted out in the back of the machine, avoiding a jam in the crossfold.
  • Quality sorting, behind the crossfold section.
  • Turner Optional: A 180° turner can installed to alter the direction of the piece in the final back.
