After lateral folding the linen is by a roll-off conveyor placed on the crossfold where the belts run parallel to the folded linen ensuring that the piece stays parallel.

This means that the measruing for the first crossfold is done like in a lateral folder. The first crossfold is placed out of center, in this way the machine remeasures the position of the linen before making the fold.

The speed of the roll-off conveyor is controlled via frequency inverters through the PLC.
