Automatic Handling and Sorting
Among other things, Jensen is the specialist for big garment sorting systems. By optimising the transport speed and controlling the hanger logistics, Jensen have been able to evolve perfectly adapted sorting architectures for all different levels in the garment sector of the laundry industry.
Traceability throughout the entire sorting system is assured by means of garment and hanger identification. The identification system can use chips and/or barcodes as desired by the individual laundry.
The METRICON Control System based on the use of PC’s, controls the sorting system and maintains the communication with the Garment Database including the continuous supply of track and trace information for every single garment in the system.
