Modular conveyor and accumulation system for folded linen

The JenWay Accumulation Conveyor is a free standing unit for transport and storage of all types of folded linen such as flatwork, towels and garments.

Its modular construction allows an individual configuration with the use of remote I/O and requires a minimum installation time with pre assembled unit sections.

The JenWay system consists of standardized units to be selected and combined from such as:

  • Driven and undriven transport conveyors
  • Buffer conveyors for dispatch handling
  • Powered curves
  • 90° transfers
  • Lift conveyors
  • Buffer conveyors
  • Roll-off systems
  • Stack centering in front of a packaging unit
  • Walk through sections with in built safety module

The accumulation system works in a way that the individual stacks are prevented from colliding with each other. A distance between stacks is held to maintain stack integrity.

The control allows for peaks and throughs in production volume with stop and start individually controlled for each transport and storage section.
