JENSEN Denmark

JENSEN Denmark supports heavy-duty laundries around the globe to put a finishing touch to linen. On the island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea, where last year's (2014) annual turnover exceeded 68 MEUR (500 MDKK), we develop and produce highly automated finishing equipment, i.e. the so-called ironer lines. These finishing lines include separators, feeders, ironers, folders, stackers as well as process software and automatic quality control equipment for the finishing of flatwork, typically bed and table linen. It was actually here on Bornholm that the foundation of the JENSEN-GROUP was laid, when Jørn Munch Jensen in 1960 built the first JENSEN folding machine, the CombiFolder. Today, the JENSEN-GROUP employs 1200 people in 20 countries. Approximately 400 of us work on Bornholm where comprehensive knowledge concerning automation, Cleantech and rational production is unified in our ‘Finishing Technology’ centre. Knowledge and production go hand in hand.
