Functional description

The JENWAY Accumulation Conveyor is a free standing unit for transport and storage of all types of folded laundry such as Flatwork, Towels and Garments. The accumulation system works in a way that the individual stacks are prevented from colliding with each other on transfer and then a distance between stacks is held to maintain stack integrity. The control allows for peaks and troughs in production volume with stop and start individually controlled for each transport and storage section. The function is similar to any busy traffic intersection queuing of vehicles in front of a traffic light system. This system is normally installed at the end of process line’s and ensures a maximum flow of production without any operator function bringing to the forefront of ergonomic solutions. The operator simply removes stacks for dispatch or storage, with the system replenishing packs pre-accumulated fully automatically. The unit has it’s own simple control system which makes it easy to integrate into an existing or new installation.
